Hear From Our Satisfied Customers

Kane Painting painted the exterior of our Stucco in July of 2023. The crew was professional and friendly. They worked diligently every day. At the end of each work day everything was cleaned up, put away, or stored neatly out of sight until the next work day. They worked around our landscaping so plants and shrubs were not trampled. We will definitely use them for our interior painting projects in the future. I highly recommend Kane Painting.

I used Kane Painting for both interior and exterior painting of an older house, and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. The painters were incredibly skilled and patient in addressing unforeseen challenges that the house presented. My numerous questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. I am absolutely thrilled with the results, and I unequivocally recommend Kane Painting.

Everything about our experience with Kane Painting was good. The crew was careful, professional, and efficient. They completed the multi-day job early and cleaned up thoroughly. The price was fair. This was the second time we’ve used Kane Painting, and we will certainly use them again. We are happy to recommend them.

We get these questions about exterior painting a lot. Here are our best answers...

How will my personal property be protected from paint?
When working on Exterior projects we use reusable canvas/drop clothes, tape, paper, and shields to protect all areas. We do our very best to not trample plants, and protect all surfaces from overspray.
What is the best season to paint exterior projects?
Which season is best to paint depends on your project type and budget. Our exterior season starts in late April to early May and can last until late October to early November. Decks and wood siding need plenty of time to dry before and after the paint/stain is applied, so it’s best to complete these projects between June and September.
What do we do if you find dry rot?
If dry rot is discovered during a painting/staining project, it will be brought to the homeowner’s attention. The home/property owners will need to find the appropriate contractor to replace the damaged area before we can begin. Kane Painting does not replace rotten wood. If it’s a small enough area, we may be able to use an epoxy or wood filler.
How long will it take to paint my house?
Most full residential projects, interior or exterior, take an average of five to twelve days to complete.
How do I maintain my exterior painting job?
Powerwashing every other year can help. Keeping off vines, plants, or tree growth can help. We use some of the best products out there to help lower maintenance.
Is it time to get my house painted?
If your wood home has exposed wood or peeling paint, or if your aluminum is chalky, leaving wash-off color on your brick or walkways, peeling, or rusting. Fading is a sign of the layers of paint regressing; if you wait longer, you will have more issues down the line.
Do you caulk between siding boards?
No, we don’t caulk all siding boards because of expansion and contraction. Wood siding needs to breathe and let moisture evaporate. All trim that we paint, such as door frames and window frames, will be caulked.
How long will my exterior painting job last?
The lifespan of an exterior paint job can vary greatly depending on several factors. While buildings can typically expect 8-10 years and decks 1-5 years, this is just an estimate. Factors such as color choice, sun exposure, product selection, surface type, and maintenance all play a significant role in how long the paint or stain will last.
